Who is the elite who tried to block my way into the bar the day before yesterday? ... Well, it seems to be the same elite as the one who is trying to impose a new gay lifestyle in Edmonton. By the way, the new administration at Woody's is Lesbian.... So, Woody's is no longer a stick piece of wood... but instead.... Ask the bouncer/bartender... He/she will tell you the new behaving code... Lure you outside for a smoke and tell you that you are not allowed inside anymore because you do not fill the pre-requisites... We should ask Lisa, the new manager. She said that Joshua's behaviour is completely acceptable.... If Joshua doesn't like you... He/she will try to kick you out. Good luck! In my opinion they act like parasites,... they suck your money and let you go...

Woodys

Went for the first time. Disappointed. Not a classy place at all. Kinda dumpy. Way to many stairs. Server had attitude issues. Won't go back.

Security Check

I am 56 years old and was taken back when your much younger door checker this evening wouldn't allow me to enter Buddies because I wasn't carrying any picture ID on me that proved my age. I was told that it was the Law that everyone entering had to show proof of ID. I don't think that in the Alberta Liquor Laws does it state that everyone who enters a liquor establishment is required to show ID. Since this is the case, you had better train your staff properly and educate them properly with regards to issues like this. I can resassure you that because of this I will not be visiting your establishment anytime in the near future, until I heard different from either the managers or the owner.

Looks Sharp

Woodys is renovated. The place looks sharp. The chairs are all either new or refurnished. New paint. The layout is more open. The video monitors are large.
