Thursdays are wet underwear contest. It's surprisingly busy for a thurs (both thursdays my friends entered me in the contest--won both times). Firday nights are busy, cosy dance floor. Definitely don't see as many straight people as other bars. Dance floor has a pole, and a few cages: just grab a friend and jump in. I've been sundays a few times when it's drag, but I go for the pool, they have tables. This is my favourite bar in edmonton, though the others are worth checking out on other days (ie Saturday).

I live just down the street from Buddy's and do venture out there every now & then. It is the greatest place to go for meeting up with people. Friday & Saturday nites are the best. The music is the best in town. Other nites it has it's attractions but I am usually working then. Hope to see you all soon.

It is a Friendly Place wher eyou feel like you have been There Forever...Well Most of the Time anyway...Just dont be afraid to say Hello to anyone and Be Outgoing Never No You mite get laid...lol Oeace!

It's not a bad place, the DJ on fridays plays to many remix's and not the actual song (usualy it's worse than the original song) but it seems to me that saturdays are the new days to go! That being said with The Roost closing, i hear rumors of a new gay club opening which is suppose to blow buddies out of the water, so i dont expect it to be around for to long after that.... or They'll be smart and renovate woodies into being an upstairs second devision of the club, and renovate downstairs too... -Phoenix

A very Dark, very sexy atmospherre Filled with young sexy people (friday night anyway) its in a shady neighborhood swarming with good people.

Wow, just moved back here to Edmonton, and, the bar scene's sure changed here!! Kinda liking it!! Kudos to Edmonton, u got LOTS on Calgary!!
